1. Overview & Our Privacy-First Commitment

At GMB Pin Fixer (“we”, “our”, or “www.gmbfixer.net”), protecting your personal data is fundamental to our philosophy.

Unlike intrusive marketing platforms, GMB Pin Fixer is built as a client-side productivity utility. When you input latitude, longitude, or resolve a map link to position your Google Business Profile pin, that calculation takes place directly inside your browser session. We do not harvest, store, or sell your business address, coordinates, or Google account credentials.

2. Information We Process

• Coordinate Data (Lat/Lng): Processed ephemeral in-memory within your browser to configure your target coordinates in the Chrome Extension. Not saved to any database.
• Link Resolving: When you paste a shortened Google Maps or WhatsApp location link, our server endpoint temporarily extracts the destination coordinates from the URL redirect headers and immediately returns them to your browser without logging personal identifiable information (PII).
• Technical Server Logs: Standard web server access logs (IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamp) retained for security, DDoS mitigation, and error diagnosis for a maximum of 30 days.
• Chrome Extension Data: The GMB Pin Fixer Chrome Extension does not transmit your profile information to any external server. All map centering executes locally using the active tab DOM.

3. Cookies & Third-Party Advertising (Google AdSense)

We may utilize cookies and third-party advertising partners, including Google AdSense, to display non-intrusive advertisements that help maintain this free utility:

• Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to our website or other websites.
• Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to users based on their visit to our sites and/or other sites on the Internet.
• Users in the USA, UK, and worldwide may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ad Settings or www.aboutads.info.

For users located in the United Kingdom (UK GDPR) and European Economic Area (EU GDPR), we operate as a Data Controller only for basic web connection logs. Under the General Data Protection Regulation (Articles 15 through 22), you have the right to:
